Tooth coloured fillings

Here at the green room we do not use mercury containing amalgam to fill teeth. Instead we restore teeth with composite. This bonds strongly to the tooth and has proved to be highly durable when looked after. We match the colour and shape carefully so only you should know that the tooth has been restored.

We are extremely careful when replacing mercury containing fillings and the pictures show the 'rubber dam' used to protect you from mercury vapour. This is also the most comfortable way for you to have dentistry and allows us to achieve the best results.

Free range children are most welcome

Our philosophy at Green Room is to keep your mouth healthy and we firmly believe that great teeth start with prevention of decay in children.

We strongly promote good brushing, regular check-ups and a healthy diet. We also know that bad childhood experiences can put people off dentists for life! Sally is naturally gifted with children and can make even the most nervous child relax (she also helps with special needs patients and phobic patients).

Prevention

Enhance your appearance

Veneers can be an excellent way to enhance your smile. They are suitable for chipped, cracked and uneven teeth. Before tretament we give you a preview of the proposed result to ensure you are happy with what can be achieved.

The veneers are custom made by Stephen Lusty, our in house dental technician, to replicate natural, strong tooth enamel.

They are securely bonded to your teeth to correct colour and shape and if looked after, can have a lifespan of 10 years or more.

Tooth whitening

Have you ever wondered how celebrities have such dazzling white teeth? Quite simply they have them whitened. Our bespoke tooth whitening system can restore a whiter, more youthful appearance - safely and effectively.

You have control on how white you go and our system allows simple touch ups to maintain a gleaming smile.

Modern approach to crowns

These are great for restoring the strength and appearance of damaged and unsightly teeth. We are one of the very few UK practices to have a resident dental technician, Stephen Lusty.

Stephen’s presence ensures superb results, virtually indistinguishable from beautiful, healthy teeth. During his time in the West End of London, Stephen made crowns and veneers for many celebrities. Like Richard, he has moved to Cornwall for the surfing and to help bring “West End dentistry to the West Country”.

Many new patients tell us they don't want to smile and aviod being photograped because their old crowns look un-natural. We spend a lot of our time carefully replacing these crowns and this greatly restores peoples appearance and self-confidence.
